Truly Madly Yours has the same originality and sauciness that made Rachel Gibson's first work,
Simply Irresistible, popular with readers. While each page brings a new take on the familiar "black sheep, old flame" plot, the main characters are at times a bit unappealing. Delaney's unqualified disgust for Truly becomes a tired mantra and no amount of biker jackets and muttered "wild things" can neutralize Nick's anachronistic womanizing. Gibson wisely focuses her attention on clever dialogue and original situations, and the overall result is a delightful and completely entertaining read.

Ich lese schon seit Jahren mehr oder weniger nur noch Amerikanische romance novels - und Truly Madly Yours von Rachel Gibson ist und bleibt mein absolutes Lieblingsbuch! Hab es schon so oft gelesen und schmelze jedes Mal wieder dahin... Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen. Unbedingt lesen!

"Truly, Madly, Yours" war mein erstes Rachel Gibson Buch - und ich wurde süchtig. Mittlerweile hab ich alle gelesen, aber dieses hier ist immer noch mein Favorit!
Ich kann mich den überwiegend positiven Rezensionen nur anschließen: absolut empfehlenswert!

This was another great book by Rachel Gibson. Hard to believe she's only written two (that I know of) books to date. The story line was fast paced and sensual. The characters are all people you can identify with. This is just as good as her other book, Simply Irrisistible. I'll be anxiously awaiting her next release!! I would also recommend reading Tino Georgiou's masterpiece--The Fates--if you haven't yet!

okay - this is a really trashy novel. i enjoy some chick-lit from time to time, but i do prefer them with lots of humour, and a storyline, and believable characters.
this one ... well. it just goes from steamy sex scene to steamy sex scene, and lust is very much confused with love. the male lead character likes his women "to stand up to him", which makes me wonder why on earth he wants anything to do with this girl who seems to have no will of her own whenever he gets near her and who allows him to do to her whatever he likes, humiliation included.
i didn't find the book particularly funny either. except that bit about the guy who would play air guitar to everything.
what i remember most about the book, is how carelessly it was edited. it seems like nobody even bothered to look for typos and misspellings - there are dozens of them. surely not a good sign.

a beautiful story! easy to read and full of romance, sex, tension and passion, with great characters! i couldn't put it down... i'm sure you'll adore this one! i highly recommend it.
