Bewertung: - bestens ausgerüstet mit LP
Wie gewohnt ist der Lonely Planet auch in Nepal die perfekte Begleitung. Schöne Beschreibungen rund um die Kultur, zu bekannten Tempeln, viele Sagen und Geschichten und auch gute "Walking Tours". Auch eine kleine Auswahl an Treks gibt es, die Karten dazu sind allerdings nicht ganz genau.
Es empfiehlt sich ohnehin eine eigene Trekking-Karte zu kaufen.
Auf einem Trek ist die Beschreibung leider nicht korrekt, lt. Lonely Planet geht man einen Weg in in einem Tag, tatsächlich braucht man allerdings 11 Std. - man sollte sicherheitshalber mind. 1 Reservetag einlegen.
Ansonsten ein toller Begleiter mit allem was man wissen muss

Bewertung: - The book doesn't cover the whole country
It's undoubtely a very good guide, with lots of informations, but it only covers the southern part of Nepal, and contains no informartion about the Himalayan region (for example, cities such as Namche Bazaar and Lo Manthang are not covered).
